Online invoice registration to Tax Authority (NAV)
As of 1 July 2018, companies with a Hungarian tax number are required to submit electronic, on-line data on invoices issued with the invoicing software used by the company to the NAV (Hungarian Tax Authority) system created for this purpose. As of this date, the obligation to report invoicing software has been abolished.
Invoices are sent directly from SAP to the NAV interface. The main advantage of our solution is that it does not require the operation of an external intermediary system, but handles the submission of invoices purely in SAP. We use the SAP invoice print function to control the submission, ensuring that the information on the invoice is submitted.
The architecture of the recommended system is fully SAP based and meets the legal obligation and user side requirements.
